Vale Ken Wilkins

It is with sadness that we advise the passing of our member, Ken Wilkins, on 30 January, 2023.  Ken died peacefully in hospital after an illness, with wife Margaret and his family, at his bedside.

Ken and Margaret became members of the Rosanna Bowling Club around 1989/90, and played for a number of years before transferring to Bundoora Bowling Club.

In 2017 they returned to Rosanna with Ken playing 159 games for the Club.  He was a very good bowler, and a very keen competitor, but also very fair.

Ken aleays had time for a chat and a laugh, and even when illness interferred with his bowling, he would come to the club to support his team mates, urging them on and interested in their efforts.

Ken’s presence will be missed around the Club, and we offer Margaret and his family our most sincere condolences.
