State Events

Margaret Hunt is currently in Bendigo competing in the State titles in Singles and Triples.  She played on Wednesday in the Champion of Champions event, having reached the last 16 in the State.

Margaret (representing Yarra Region) came up against Brooke Edwards (Metro West) in a keenly fought match with not a lot in it for most of the game, however, Brooke proved to be a little stronger towards the end and went on to win 25, to Margaret’s 19.

Margaret was certainly not disgraced by her courageous effort as Brooke has gone on to be in the final, being played today.

Margaret is teamed up with Marie and Dianne McKee, again representing Yarra Region, in today’s Triples event at Bendigo East Bowling Club.  They have drawn against a team from Murray Mallee.
