Round 6 has been done and dusted.  An interesting day for the Rosanna sides, with One and Three being victorious, whilst the Second side found the opposition far too strong ao their own dung hill.

Chris Ball, Tony Campbell-Burns, Mil Crea and Alan Mason, 25 – 19, plus 6.

Jack Dunbar, Margaret Hunt, Jeff Cook and Jim Gregory, 12 – 19, minus 7.

Rosanna 59, Preston Reservoir 52, plus 7, 14 points, 3rd on ladder with 52 points, next week playing Moonee Valley 1 on 51 points and 4th on ladder, away.

Rob Barclay, Alan Phillips, Ed Sheean and Paul Gregory, 7 – 29, minus 22.

Paul Bassett, Nicole Carriero, Veronika Crea and Leo Bosso, 13 – 29, minus 16.

Robin Doherty, Colin Watson, Peter Bell and Glenn Lyons, 18 – 34, minus 16.

Rosanna 38, Heidelberg Golf 92, minus 54, 0 points, 2nd on ladder with 67 points, next week playing City of Heidelberg 1 on 60 points and 3rd on ladder, at home.

Terrye Meade, Rob Hunt, Phil Hynes and John Head, 24 – 9, plus 15.

Noel Broadhurst, Russell Hyde, Ray Prestney and Kay Plain, 13 – 15, minus 2.

Rosanna 58, Greensborough 38, plus 20, 14 points, 1st on ladder with 89 points, next week playing Kingsbury 3 on 74 points and 2nd on ladder, away.

Best winning rink was Terrye Meade, Rob Hunt, Phil Hynes and John Head, 15 shots up.  Congratulations.

Milestones this week were Kay Plain playing her 150th Midweek game, Chris Ball playing his 200th Club game, and the REALLY BIG ONE – KEN BARR 1150 Club games.  An amazing effort Ken and well done to you.

Next Tuesday sees the half way mark of the season and there are a couple of tough games in the offing.  The teams need to continue their excellent focus as seen in the first part of the season, and continue to aim for finals appearances.  Stick with it Goannas, let’s strive for excellence.
