Hello Bowlers,
The last round before the Christmas break has now been completed with excellent results for Rosanna. The three sides all had wins, and in doing so dropped only one rink. The results put the Rosanna teams in a strong position going into the final five rounds, and all things being equal, should have them playing in at least Week 1 of the finals series. Well done to all players for your creditable performances.
The First side travelled to Essendon to take on a strong, unbeaten team who had the upper hand when the sides met in round 2, at Rosanna. Different story this time, and in a sustained showing of high performance bowling by Rosanna, the three rinks were too strong for the previously unvanquished opponent and inflicted Essendon’s first defeat for the season.
