Hello Bowlers,
Round eight has come and gone. Not a real good outcome for the Club as we only had one winning team. The first side did well and gained 16 points, whilst the Second and Third sides each lost their games. It was the first loss for the season for the Threes. With one round to play before the Christmas break, it would be good for Rosanna to show a strong hand, and further ensure that it is well placed to play a long, and successful, finals season. The First side will face up to an unbeaten Essendon, on their turf, next Tuesday. The Second side will stay at home and do battle with last placed Fairfield. The Third side will travel to Eltham, who are placed 6th.

The best winning rink honours went to Alan Mason, Mil Crea, Tony Campbell-Burns and Chris Ball with 16 shots up. Well done guys.
There were four milestones this week, one a double header. Margaret Hunt registered her 250th Club game for Rosanna, Paul Gregory his 300th Club game for Rosanna and Kevin Nelson his 150th Midweek game for Rosanna, but more amazingly, Kevin chalked up his 900th Club game, which is a tremendous effort in anyone’s book. Well done indeed to Margaret, Paul and Kevin.
That’s it for this week people. Let’s give it a red hot go next week, and have a great party after the games.
Keep ’em rolling.
