Not the result we were looking for, no sir. It was a bit ugly today I’m told. I think we were expecting a better showing, however, were outbowled on the day. It means we will play at home on Thursday, against Ivanhoe who accounted for Preston-Reservoir earlier today.
Warren Williams, Margaret Hunt, Kevin Meade and Gwenda Bail (23 -20) were our only winning rink in a fairly even contest.
Alan Mason, Don Casey, Veronika Crea and Jack Dunbar could not breech the gap and went down 12 – 19.
Damian Crea, Jeff Cook, Chris Ball and Mil Crea came up against a red hot Valley rink and were beaten 8 -29.

Hopefully a couple of nights good sleep and a coaching session at 3:00 on Wednesday, will be just the ticket for a form reversal.
